The Administration of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State through the Kogi State Ministry of Health is at advanced planning stage to integrate the State into the National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (NEMSAS) via the State Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance Systems (SEMSAS) programme.
The aim is to key into the Emergency gateway of the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund and Kogi is poised to become one of the first states to be admitted into this flagship essential services provision.
Gradually, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State is meeting the objectives of the second of his original five thematic areas in the New Direction Blueprint, thus proving that Healthcare Delivery System is a deliberate effort and not by happenstance or accidental results.
