Kogi At 33 Message - Kogi Governor Ododo Calls for Unity and Collaboration
In a heartfelt address marking the 33rd anniversary of Kogi State, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo called for unity and collaboration to achieve the state’s full potential.
Ododo acknowledged the contributions of past leaders and administrations, paying special tribute to his predecessor, Yahaya Bello, for laying a solid foundation for progress.
He also called on all Kogites, including his political opponents, to unite and work together to achieve the Kogi of their dreams.
The governor condemned the recent harassment of SDP candidate Murtala Yakubu Ajaka and called for a swift investigation and prosecution of those responsible.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fulfilling all campaign promises and implementing the Kogi State 32-Year Development Plan, which aims to bring sustainable development, improved infrastructure, enhanced security, and a brighter future for the people of Kogi.
Ododo also assured all aspirants and the people that the upcoming local government elections would be free, fair, and transparent.
He expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support and mentorship and thanked God for His abundant blessings on Kogi State.
In closing, the governor reiterated his aspiration to transform Kogi State into the “giant of Nigeria” through good governance and transformational leadership. He declared that Kogi’s best days are ahead and urged everyone to stay united, committed, and focused on the future.
